 My Lola Alfonso gave a Violin to his dozen kids.  But my Dad played it like a 'fiddle'.  He can play the violin, but only as a 'fiddle.'  They are similar.  Perhaps my grand-nephew Carlisle can learn both the violin and fiddle.  I mention him because his name is Carlisle.  Though my nephew Andrew too, perhaps?
